Electric vehicles are finally turning a corner with respect to adoption, affordability, and the fun aspect relative to Internal Combustion Engine vehicles. However, the charging network experience is lagging behind what is most important to consumers - namely: reduction of range anxiety and predictable access.
Air Joule recognizes consumer pain points as an opportunity to build a service that connects disparate solutions into a single end-to-end consumer user experience. Many countries, including the United States, have allocated federal resources toward building a larger network of charging stations. Although this is a critical step in the right direction, it is important to have charging stations operate in a consistent manner. The objective is to maximize consumer driving experiences. Consumers will seamlessly locate and pay for energy without fear of running out of "juice" or being constrained by the operator policies, regional rules, and regulations.
A home-as-an-energy source is a viable alternative to public charging stations. A reasonable capacity electric storage system is built to charge and distribute energy to EV drivers. Consumers locate these energy spots just the same way they use public charging locations.
This is what we set out to do.
We just got started - we are now building key foundational elements of this cloud infrastructure. In addition, we are in discussions with electric charge storage system providers to build a home or mobile delivery system connected to a cloud network. We would also like to partner with charging station operators to power their cloud services and EV driver acquisition.
